Here When You Need Us Most
Dental emergencies can happen when you least expect them — and they shouldn’t wait. At Clermont Hills Dentistry, we offer same-day emergency appointments to help relieve pain, restore function, and protect your oral health as quickly as possible.
Our compassionate team is trained to handle urgent situations with calm, gentle care, so you can get back to feeling comfortable and confident fast.
What Counts as a Dental Emergency?
If you’re unsure whether your situation is an emergency, the rule is simple: If it hurts, feels broken, or is bleeding — call us.
Common emergencies we treat include:
- Severe toothache or swelling
- Cracked, chipped, or broken teeth
- Knocked-out (avulsed) tooth
- Lost fillings or crowns
- Gum or soft tissue injuries
- Infection or abscess
- Sudden sensitivity or jaw pain
Even small issues can worsen quickly without treatment. Calling right away helps us preserve your tooth and prevent complications.
Same-Day Relief with Gentle, Modern Care
We prioritize emergency patients because we know how stressful dental pain can be. When you arrive, we’ll:
01
Assess your concern immediately to identify the cause of pain or damage.
02
Provide pain relief using gentle, local anesthetics and modern technology.
03
Stabilize and treat the issue — whether that’s repairing a tooth, treating infection, or restoring a restoration.
04
Create a follow-up plan for long-term comfort and oral health.
Our goal is to treat your emergency quickly — and help you leave our office feeling calm, cared for, and confident again.
What to Do Before You Arrive
If you’re dealing with one of the following, here’s what you can do on the way to our office:
Knocked-Out Tooth:
- Handle the tooth by the crown (not the root).
- Rinse gently with water — do not scrub.
- Try to place it back in the socket if possible.
- If not, keep it in milk or under your tongue and call us immediately.
Severe Toothache:
- Rinse with warm salt water.
- Use a cold compress to reduce swelling.
- Avoid placing aspirin directly on the gums or tooth.
Broken or Chipped Tooth:
- Save any broken pieces.
- Rinse your mouth gently with water.
- Apply gauze if bleeding and call our office.
Lost Crown or Filling:
- Keep the restoration if possible.
- Avoid chewing on that side.
- Call us promptly to have it replaced or repaired.
After-Hours Dental Emergencies
If you experience a dental emergency outside normal business hours, please call our main number and leave a detailed message. Our team regularly checks voicemails and will return your call as soon as possible.
If your situation involves severe bleeding or trauma, go to the nearest emergency room or urgent care facility — then contact us for follow-up care.
